Council Relations Webinar

Mayors and councilmembers need to have an effective relationship with the Office of the City Secretary, and vice-versa, to successfully undertake their responsibilities.  The attitude, actions, and the approach you take can avoid pitfalls and establish a bond of mutual respect and understanding to facilitate both roles.

During this webinar we will discuss:

  • Defining your role and managing your environment
  • Establishing relationships
  • Communicating clearly and effectively with elected officials
  • Creating a culture as a department and as a city official
